Introducing our latest creation, Laika a 5.5% Cashmere and El Dorado hazy pale. 60 years ago, Yuri Gargarin became the first person in space. However we celebrate another pioneer, Laika the space dog, the first animal to orbit the Earth.

Subject: Azacca

Our first beer back after the most recent lockdown continues our series of single-hop pales, this time using Azacca.  We have really enjoyed this hop in some of our other beers, so this time it goes it alone to showcase what it is all about.

Look out for it and support your local pubs and bars at this time!

Acoustic Kitty

Our newest beer treads familiar ground, again with small tweaks. This one has a little Columbus in the whirlpool, before dry hopping with Cashmere and Azacca. The grain bill was also modified slightly, and the result is another juicy, fruity beer as you expect from us.

We have called it Acoustic Kitty in memory of the brave cats involved in a secret project run by the CIA where they were implanted with recording devices in an attempt to spy on the Soviets. Unsurprisingly, it was not a success.

No cats were harmed in the brewing of this beer.

Combination: AAC

Our new beer is kegged and ready to go. Combination: AAC is another hazy pale, this time led by Azacca in the dry hop, backed up with Amarillo and Citra.

With the ongoing uncertainty with COVID-19, we are still only brewing in small batches, but we would like to thank all of our customers, especially the Nip and Growler in Kings Lynn, 3at3 in Ely and The Ale Taster in St Neots who have been wonderfully supportive in these difficult times

Subject: Cashmere

We are back!  Having shut down over lockdown, we are taking our first cautious steps back, this time with another hazy pale, this time hopped with Cashmere.  We have also switched to a different yeast strain, and are very pleased with the result.

Stay safe!

Azacca + Mosaic Hazy IPA

Our latest release is another hazy IPA / NEIPA.  Using the same malt base and grain bill as our previous release, Subject:Ekuanot, this time we change the hops to a mix of Azacca and Mosaic.  This results in a really juicy, fruity beer that really lets the hops speak for themselves.

Second Beer Released – Subject: Ekuanot

Our next beer is now available – Subject: Ekuanot a 5.4% Hazy IPA. It’s an easy drinking IPA, reasonably low bitterness designed to showcase the Ekuanot hops.

When we were setting up the brewery, we brewed a test beer very similar to this one. We liked it so much that we knew this would have to be rebrewed once we were up and running.

This is the first in a series of single hopped beers that we will be brewing to show off different varieties.
